I am delighted to bring you the first edition of Conference Call for 2015 at the start of an exciting and significant year for the EICC.

We have recently launched InnovationNation – a series of free public monthly lectures, which celebrates innovation in Edinburgh and Scotland. The first lecture in the series took place in February and was a great success, with keynote speakers discussing innovation in the energy sector. In January HRH The Princess Royal opened our new Lennox Suite, with its incredible moving-floor system. It was a spectacular event, which you can find out more about in our in our Recently at the EICC feature.

2015 is Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink and with such a fantastic larder at its disposal, it’s going to be a great year for all of the foodies amongst us. In our Destination feature we look at some of the best events taking place throughout the year, all in celebration of the wealth of produce available.
